Bead Soup Party - 2nd Reveal

It is time for the second group in the Bead Soup Party to reveal their lovely creations.
Jeepers - that's me!

And I am so excited to show what I stirred up with the lovely beads and handmade clasp sent to me by my partner, Barbara Mason of Adorningly Yours.
Just a reminder of what Barbara sent me.

The first piece is a bracelet made with the beautiful handmade clasp and the white pearls.  I don't usually work with the gold metals so this was definitely a challenge but I had some jade, citrine and green pearls that just jumped out and begged to join this lovely clasp.
The second piece is made with the focal piece which is a stone I can't identify but it has gorgeous golden tones.  When I was auditioning metals and beads for this piece, the copper seemed a natural choice.  I also added some of my lampwork beads, some amber glass beads and copper chain and clasp.

Thanks again to Lori for organizing this Bead Soup Blog Party.  We do appreciate you!!!

Before you go I have a little request.  I have a new Facebook page and I would love for you to check it out.  Just click the link or see the button at the top of this page (that my daughter so cleverly added).  And of course, all likes are greatly appreciated.

Grab your favorite beverage and plop in your favorite chair while you make your way through the Bead Soup delights right here.

Get some inspiration for creating,
Carol

  3. Nice soup! The second piece focal looks like maybe some kind of agate slice, possibly dyed, but it is beautiful! Great job!

  36. You've designed two beautiful pieces. My favourite is the multistrand bracelet. I think the focal stone is an agate stone or at least it looks like one. Happy creations.

  37. The green bracelet is so pretty, I love it.

  40. you created 2 Lovely designs .
    Bead-itiful and very wearable

  41. Both pieces are so beautiful...I would wear the bracelet..I love the greens and the balance between the larger and smaller beads. It has movement. The addition of the variable patterned lamp work beads is great as they allow the eye to keep moving until they find the 'finish' at the larger, offset focal. Maybe that is carnelian? I really like both pieces!

  42. You did a wonderful job creating beauty. My fav is the green and gold bracelet. Just can't resist the combination of the two! I'm glad I stopped by :-)

  45. Your designs are really lovely. I especially like your bracelet. It came together so wonderfully!

  46. I would wear both ;-)) green with just a little bit gold is great, also here from the small netbook it is looking like matte gold and that is just and only elegant. Your big stone i thought with the first view that it is a carnelian. I love them and have a lot of them. All gradients from nearly clear to light milky over orange to a lot of warm orange-browntones.
I have to watch your beauties again..... :-))
